Promoted a culture of teamwork among employees through regular meetings/trainings and team building activities. Optimized staffing levels during peak hours and slow hours by monitoring attendance and adjusting schedules accordingly. Responsible for maintaining pool water chemistry. Repairing pools, including electrical and mechanical systems, cleaning, as well as other facility maintenance and improvements. Coordinated seasonal openings/closings for our facilities as well. Additional duties include performing water rescues and first aid, coordinating patient hand off between the pool staff and EMS. Working with veteran lifeguards to have higher skill sets. Providing high quality customer service by getting to know customers, enhance their satisfaction, quick conflict resolution and proactive communication.

The helping hand of the Head Pool Manager. Working with new coming lifeguards to know the knowledge of our facilities needed to meet our standards and work. Learning about al the facilities for the City of Denton. Began learning about pool chemistry and facility maintenance and improvements. Began positive relationships with local community through active participation and service. Learning to balance taking the lead when around lifeguards but also ready to follow and take orders from Head Pool Managers.

Responsible for customer safety at each facility, as well as knowing all water safety skills, first aid and knowledge needed to help and guide other lifeguards. Additional duties include cleaning the facility for opening and closing as told, being a team leader on scenes, and communicating with upper management.
