  • My responsibilities include conducting regular, frequent patrols of recreation areas by vehicle, or on foot to ensure public safety and to monitor visitor compliance and resource impacts
  • Assisting park guests and answering questions about available recreational activities, park facilities and resources, and other related topics
  • I performed light ground maintenance duties such as collecting trash as well as trail maintenance
  • Administering first aid and providing assistance for firefighters and police in emergency situations
  • Assisting higher-graded park rangers and other staff members with special projects based on education, skills, program needs, and interests
