• Served as a Sergeant with the Sheriff’s Office and performed various sworn law enforcement, criminal investigation, administrative and crime prevention duties; in addition to providing security and supervision in both the Court Services and Correctional Services Divisions.

• Performed various sworn law enforcement duties including effecting arrests for criminal offenses, conducting searches of vehicles, persons, and buildings, interviewing subjects, performing service of process for various court documents, seizure/control of evidence, and providing courtroom testimony. Duty assignments included all aspects of responsibility for jail operations, courtroom security,and civil process.
