Lifelong race fan, since 1969. Owned a local dirt track racing publication from 1989-1995. Worked at Myrtle Beach Speedway while in the military, 1988-1989. Worked as public relations for Carl Short at Interstate 79 Speedway, 1980-1981. Pennsboro Speedway 1981-1983. Elkins (WV) Speedway 1981-1983. 1989-1992. Currently announcer at Elkins Raceway 2021-present. Announced at Elkins (WV) Raceway, special events on Floracing for FASTRTAK Racing Series, Valvoline Iron Man Series, West Virginia Motor Speedway and Tyler County (WV) Speedway for Hillbilly 100. Several podcasts and youtube dirt track racing specials. Looking for full-time or part time work , or combining a few part-time duties that equal full time. I have no ego, very laid back and easy to get along with. If I have any skills that may elevate Volusia Speedway Park and boost its bottom line, I'm willing to discuss.
