Summary:

Summary:
Manage construction and inspections for various commercial projects involving all trades, including electrical, mechanical, construction/civil, and so on.
Construction Management:
Review, coordinate, and recommend acceptance of the contractor's progress schedule for each project. As the project progresses, monitor actual progress and obtain modified progress schedules, as required.
Review, coordinate, and recommend a Schedule of Submittals (S.O.S.) for each project. As the project progresses, assist in reviewing submittals, monitor for conformity to the contract, and expedite action where required.
Prepare, organize, and conduct the Initial and Bi-Weekly job meetings. Prepare and distribute job meeting minutes.
Review contractor requests for a time extension for compliance with the contract requirements and process accordingly.

Review and perform contract interpretation of the Plans and Specifications, and advise the contractor as needed to ensure contractor compliance with Code and Contract documents daily.
Monitor and inspect the contractor’s activities to ensure that contract requirements, as represented by the plans and specifications, are fulfilled.
Prepares and maintains daily reports on the contractor’s activities, Bi-Weekly reports, and construction meeting reports, which are submitted and filed on time.
Perform special field investigations in order to assist client agencies and the Area Supervisor.
Perform various other inspections, such as site safety, first delivery, detailed, and final inspections.
Establish and maintain professional, effective, timely, and consistent communication with all contractors, field inspectors, project managers, supervisors, design engineers, and all required government agency personnel.
Construction Emergencies Management:
Investigate and evaluate field conditions in order to report to the immediate supervisor with a summary and recommendation for action.
Consult with facility personnel and take immediate action to alleviate dangerous conditions when prudent.
Meet with Contractor and Facility Representatives on-site to determine an acceptable work plan. Provide the contractor with appropriate direction as needed to ensure the successful execution of the work plan to completion.
