I am currently my autistic son's PCA. I assist David with all of his ADLs. David is unaware of his surroundings when we are in the community and requires complete supervision and encouragement to access the community.

As Resident Assistant, I assisted residents with their ADLs, escorted them to meals and activities, and administered their daily medications.

Initially, I assisted residents in their ADL's and escorted them to meals and activities. I was promoted to Lead Care Manager where I assisted other Care Managers in their assignments, talked with family members if they had concerns after the managers had gone for the day. If we were short staffed I called other staff to see if they were able to come in. As a medication aid, I passed medication to residents under the RN.
