As Center Merchandising Manager I focused on Mandatories and Seasonal Focus items and blocks. It's important to understand the right time to have items out for the upcoming seasons. Costco keeps a Season ahead. It's important to have displays out and secured, while keeping the aisles straight and neat. Clothing also has focus caps and with the right item in the right place can make a significant profit. Some candy has short code dates and it is important to watch and rotate properly.

Foods manager has the same focus as other areas, like focus items, seasonal foods, and mandatories but also has more demo items than center. Foods has a lot of items to track code dates which requires more contact with buyers to ask for demos and markdowns. Foods also have the Cooler, Freezer, and Produce which also requires more focus on D&D. Foods also requires attention to steel to make sure its following food safety. For example, raw over cooked and detergents over food.

Night floor Supervisor I handled setting end caps, moving demo items, and helping alleviate hard to handle areas for the morning crew, such as the back and wall which will be blocked in the morning. Also had to make sure the depots were unloaded and miscellaneous tasks that the merch managers asked. I handled the floor and my manager handled the schedule and counseling notices.

Major sales I ensured my team had knowledge through epk and apple training to help the members find the right product that they were looking for. I had my team clean and maintain the front of the store during operational hours and clean hardlines after open. I was in charge of creating and maintaining the majors blocks, and took care of the fence. Strived towards squaretrade goals, which is now allstate.

Frontend Supervisors work as a team to ensure the flow of traffic goes smoothly for members. Starting with cart crew and member service for members to have carts and a welcomed entrance. Into the store, supervisors are in charge of floor walks to ensure the safety and food safety of our members. Supervisors are in charge of managing the flow for cashiers and the exit door. They are in charge of schedules for these areas and helping other areas of the warehouse when needed. Front end has focus's like upgrades, CMN, refer a friends, allstate, and stamps. It's important to keep on the team to make the goals.

Tire Sales finds the right tire for the member through the right questions. Tire Install installs tires and performs maintenance in a timely manner. Tire Lead steps in as the supervisor when he/she are off and is in charge of managing the workflow and dealing with member issues and warranties. The lead is also in charge of doing the visual inspections, torquing the wheels on, and the release the vehicle with any notes of concern. If any issues arise they are in charge of contacting members.

Welcoming members to the store while keeping track of door counts. Checking receipts for members on their way out to ensure they have been charged correctly. Ensuring the carts are full and bottle machines are operational. Keeping the foyer clean.
