I am looking to further my education in Art History and appraising art. I would like to become an appraiser. I own a gallery in Homer, Alaska. I receive phone calls, emails and walk-in's looking for someone to appraise, give a value, etc... and I would like to learn the proper techniques in order to expand my business and offer my community a service with the education and training to back me up. I live in a small town in Alaska and have tried to get a Bachelors Degree in Art History or the like. The University here does not offer this degree. I am hoping the Appraisers Association of America can help me. I would really love to be accepted in your CASP program. It is exactly what I am looking for.
