As a Nursing Clinical Faculty member, I provide hands-on instruction and supervision to up to 8 nursing students per clinical group in diverse healthcare settings, ensuring they develop the skills and knowledge necessary for safe and effective patient care. I facilitate clinical conferences, assess student performance, facilitate lab classes, and mentor students in critical thinking and professional practice. Collaborating with faculty and healthcare partners, I align clinical experiences with curriculum objectives.

Independently cared for 1-4 infants in a level III, 60-bed unit. Relief Charge Nurse, Neonatal transport nurse, preceptor, and relief House Supervisor. Performed admission, discharge and transfer procedures, and assisted others with patient care. Implemented physicians' orders for assigned patients safely and properly administered medications and treatments. Assisted physicians in administering treatments and performing medical examinations, diagnostic tests, and sterile procedures. Independently attended deliveries, including high risk deliveries.

From January 2023 to January 2024 I served as a Clinical Nurse Coordinator. I was responsible for delivery attendance, supervision of the unit, assisting staff, audits, supply ordering, assisting with scheduling, close collaboration with neonatologists and NNPs, parent rounding, and orienting staff to relief charge, backup charge and transport roles.

Responsible for delivery attendance, supervision of the unit, assisting staff, audits, supply ordering, staff counselings, assisting with scheduling, close collaboration with neonatologists and NNPs, parent rounding, and orienting staff to relief charge role. Administered medications and maintained IV fluids per physician orders. Managed patient care for patients requiring ventilator and CPAP/BiPAP support. Monitored for changing clinical presentation and evolving needs and reported appropriately to physicians.

Responsible for patient care needs for 1-4 infants in a level IV, 62-bed unit. Independently cared for critical infants requiring 1:1 care and managing drips. Performed admission, discharge and transfer procedures, and assisted others with patient care.
