
Extensive Knowledge of Sports Rules and Safety Procedures: Played sports in high school and intramural sports in college. Have extensive knowledge of NCAA and ACC rules and procedures for collegiate sports (all sports). Also have knowledge of facilities management for sports facilities. Exercise Science at UNC-Chapel Hill prepares its graduates for post-collegiate work and professsional knowledge.
Goals for profession and growth Professionally, it is important to strive to develop skills in sports administration. Working with a team to create new strategies for improvement and growth in that area are essential. Working in sports facilities management or working within an organization to grow a sports team through strategies and marketing is a goal. Energy, professionalism, and commitment to the sports industry will help to develop strategies and growth. Although just having graduated college (so this resume does not reflect a great deal of previous experience in the sports industry), I will bring energy and new ideas to the table and work collaboratively and diligently toward growth.

I completed my internship with Parks and Recreation for the Town of Chapel Hill under the direction of Mike Troutman. During the internship, I helped supervise youth sports usage of the parks in Chapel Hill and direction for the youth programs.
