John Pollard

My name is John Pollard, and I’m a Cybersecurity major at Troy University working toward a future in digital security. I’ve always been drawn to problem-solving, technology, and helping protect people in an increasingly connected world.

Coming from fast-paced food service roles, I learned to stay calm under pressure, communicate clearly, and pay close attention to detail. Those experiences shape how I approach my technical work. Even though I’m early in my cybersecurity journey, I’ve built a foundation through introductory programming, core security concepts, and hands-on coursework, and I’m committed to growing a little more each day.

My goal is to continue building my technical abilities and eventually step into a cybersecurity role where I can help others feel safe and confident in the digital world.
