I am currently an Amazon Delivery Driver. In this position and in my previous position at FedEx, I was required to do the following:

• Navigate large vehicles safely and effectively on cramped suburban streets as well as other more chaotic environments such as warehouses and construction sites.
• Maintain situational awareness to prevent accidents.
• lift and carry heavy loads, often up stairs and through buildings.
• Engaged with customers professionally to enhance satisfaction and resolve inquiries.
• Executed timely deliveries across long, complex routes, ensuring customer expectations were consistently met.
• Meet Department of Transportation and Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration safety standards and driving hours regulations.
• Conducted thorough vehicle inspections to uphold safety standards and prevent operational issues.

Here I was a FedEx driver. In this position I had all the same Tasks and Responsibilities as I do currently as an Amazon Driver, With the additional responsibility of planning my own route. This required great time management skills to schedule my pickups and deliveries efficiently, understanding traffic patterns and familiarizing myself with the shipping/receiving hours of the businesses on my route. It also required me to keep my truck organized in a way that allowed me to load and unload it sequentially throughout the day. I had already been working this route for two years before the route was acquired by Scuba Steve.

I started working for this company as an Amazon delivery driver and then as a FedEx driver starting in 2021. While working for this company I also drove 26' box trucks delivering large palletized loads from amazon warehouses to small rural post offices. I had to transition to Scuba Steve when Pony Xpress ceased operations in July 2025.

• Enhanced shopper and tourist experience by delivering reliable information and guidance on available services.
• Performed security duties such as patrolling, addressing trespassing, providing escorts, preventing loss, and documenting incidents.
• Coordinated outreach initiatives to connect homeless individuals with essential resources and support.
• Executed custodial duties by removing trash, eliminating graffiti, cleaning human waste, and maintaining flower beds.

I wore many hats at this job. when I started I did pretty much anything that needed done around the office, warehouses and lumber yard. this included cleaning up work areas, sorting inventory, and making emergency deliveries to jobsites. over time I received steady promotions and new responsibilities.

• Cash counter retail sales. in this position I sold material to walk-in customers. I learned to read basic blueprints on things like additions, sheds, decks and small houses. I did building material take-offs and sold lumber packages.
• Sales Coordinator. In this position I worked under a Sales representative on large housing developments. I worked directly with jobsite superintendents "putting out fires". I facilitated the delivery of material shortages, Coordinated communication to engineers concerning truss systems, engineered floor systems, and prebuilt staircases, as well as with our mill shop and door shop concerning doors and interior arches. I also read blueprints to order staircases, which required me to calculate risers, treads and stringer sizes.
