I want to clarify the gaps in my work history.
In 2014, I suffered an injury in a house fire which made me unable to work. Prior to that incident, I took great pride in owning and operating a Siding Installation business for 12 years. During that time, I not only developed my own skills but also trained and supervised a dedicated team of 5 to 6 individuals. Together, we delivered high-quality work and ensured the satisfaction of our valued customers.
Additionally, I have worked on a road construction crew where I operated heavy equipment and laid drainage pipes. I also have experience as a Bio Hazard Specialist.
After overcoming the traumatic experience of the house fire and the resulting physical injuries, I was determined to rebuild my life. It was a challenging journey, but I persevered and managed to reenter the workforce in 2022. However, in March 2023, unexpected health issues related to my heart arose, requiring a short hospital stay. Unfortunately, my time with The Village Pie Maker was not long enough to qualify for the necessary medical leave, leading my employer to make the unfortunate decision to let me go.
Nevertheless, I remain determined to embrace new opportunities and contribute my skills and experiences to the workforce. While my journey has faced setbacks, I firmly believe in the resilience of the human spirit. I am confident that, given the right opportunity, I can once again make a positive impact and continue to advance in my professional journey.
