As a Medical Assistant in a doctor’s office, I assist healthcare providers by performing both clinical and administrative duties. My responsibilities include rooming patients, taking vital signs, documenting medical histories, preparing patients for examinations, administering injections and medications as directed, collecting laboratory specimens, scheduling appointments, maintaining medical records, and educating patients on treatment plans. I also help ensure the office runs efficiently while providing compassionate and professional patient care.

As an Adult Domestic Violence Advocate, I provide crisis intervention, emotional support, safety planning, and advocacy services to survivors of domestic violence. My responsibilities include conducting client assessments, developing individualized service plans, connecting clients with community resources, assisting with housing and legal referrals, maintaining accurate case records, and supporting clients as they work toward safety, stability, and independence. I strive to empower survivors while ensuring a safe, respectful, and supportive environment.
