Kitchen 101 Cofounder

  • After around twenty-five pages of safety protocol, equipment, and agreements and cooperation with Sage staff and weeks of summer meetings, Kitchen 101 was founded August 2023
  • Broke a school record in first year signups of a non-class affiliated club with 200+ members first year
  • 3rd largest club in Marist and the biggest club not affiliated with a class
  • Since then, Martin Laughlin (other Co-founder), Chef Lauren (head of Sage operations at Marist), and I hold meetings once every two weeks
  • Raise capital for meetings through diverse means

Help Desk Technology Assistant

  • interned as a technology assistant for the Help Desk, a student position in the Technology department
  • troubleshoot computers, make slideshows for students and instructions, test new computer software, and research new developments in artificial intelligence that would benefit the school
  • I gave a presentation on implementing AI listening technology to record a class, copy it into notes, and work as a tutor for students on in class material
  • I often see up to a dozen students a day, manage files, and convert items into slideshows
  • I also pushed for new emailing rights for students who run clubs (such as myself) to have access to email more than fifteen people at a time (for my 120-person club)

  • I tutor for Algebra 1 and 2 and Pre-Calculus courses, AP Literature course, AP Biology and Honors Chemistry courses
  • I have tutored for both my previous middle school and high school in a non-professional manner

JV Basketball Player

  • As my second year of Marist basketball, I worked hard this season to not only get in shape but to gain skill
  • Though I was not the best shooter on the team, I worked consistently to learn the sport in a more dynamic way, competing against harder competitors
  • I was team chaplain again, second year in a row, and worked on my connection of the sport and my team's relationship with God

JV Soccer Goalie

  • After the JV basketball season, I started JV soccer as the goalie because my friends suggested to me to try out
  • I took their advice and became the starting goalie for the soccer team
  • Practice is every school day for around two hours and games are seventy minutes, not including arriving early or travel time

Shot and Disc Thrower

  • I started Shot and Disc, the throwing category of Track and Field, to improve my arm strength and try out a new sport
  • I joined with another friend of mine and fell in love with the community
  • Coach Greene taught me footwork, stance, hold, and a new understanding of consistency
  • I met Seniors who guided me, O'Keefe and Lucas, who taught me what they learned at Marist
  • I am still in touch with throwers and the seniors (now in college) and nearly made the States before a season-ending concussion
