• A 400 plus-bed Rehabilitation Hospital and Medical Center accredited by Joint Commission International and Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities which opened 30th October 2002 to provide care for both inpatients and outpatients. Works interdependently with doctors, co-nurses and other health care provider with the following responsibilities:

· Assists attending physicians during their daily rounds with patients, discusses underlying problems and complications including the immediate care to be given.

· Take patients data, check complaint and vital signs.

· Prepare patients and assist with examination.

· Administer medications.

· Rendered total sponges bathe for febrile patients.

· Perform IV Theraphy, inserting cannula and extraction of blood investigation as ordered.

· Dress wounds and assist with minor surgery.

· Maintain medical record.

· Prepare and arrange the bed before admission and after transferring the patients to the ward.

· Administered oxygen inhalation SOS as ordered.

· Perform general nursing procedures such as blood extraction for laboratory test, stool/urine as specimen for analysis/culture and therapy according to the patient’s clinical status and age.

· Assist doctor’s rounds and carry out physician’s legal orders especially in giving medications according to 7 rights.

· Inserting Foley catheter and NGT for lavage/gavage as ordered.

· Observe the color of urine, IV infusion, intake/output and other discharges.
