I enlisted at the rank of E3-PFC and advanced to the rank of E5-Sergeant in less than 3 years. Supervised and managed 5 soldiers as a squad leader. Completed 2 overseas tours, Iraq in 2010 and Afghanistan in 2012.

As a welder specialist I worked in the undermount department, welding jigs and rigs underneath trailers. MIG welding, stainless steel and mild steel in overhead positions. Advanced in blueprint reading and overhead 5-ton crane operator. Use of pneumatic tools-drills, grinders, rivet-huck guns and electrical light wiring.

My job duties included blueprint reading, MIG welding mild steel in all positions. Also use of 3-ton crane operation and learned to operate robotic welding machine. Great job but I had a short stint because I started school that August.

Government Contractor: I supplied and dispensed eyeglass wear to 1000+ veterans. Assisted and improved ordering process, getting veterans glasses in a timely manner. Also received a customer service star for excellent friendly service to veterans.

• Assisted customers with frame selection and lens options.
• Educated customers on proper eyewear care and maintenance.
• Maintained inventory of optical supplies and equipment.

Government Contractor: I continued excellent service to 1000+ veterans, servicing eyeglass needs, repairs and adjustments. Effectively managed optical shop and assisted veterans with getting VA appointments as well as community care exams.

• Collaborated with team members to improve customer service processes.
• Processed orders and managed patient records efficiently.
• Coordinated with doctors effectively ensuring patients get the best fitted Rx.
