Jolene Du is a ceramic artist from Chengdu, China. She received her BFA in Fine Arts (Ceramics) from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago in 2026. Working with layered ceramic forms, her practice explores relationships between people and the natural world. Through organic structures and subtle openings, she evokes an inner life that cautiously reaches outward within systems of care and protection. Her work engages cycles of growth, decay, and regeneration, reflecting on how protection and limitation intertwine and how equilibrium unfolds through changing conditions.
