Affiliations

I have worked with Washington State's "Behind the Badge foundation" for over 10 years in a variety of roles from being a member of the "Line of Duty Death response team" to being an instructor at three separate Regional Honor Guard Academies hosted by Behind the Badge, the last being in April of 2026 in Tacoma, Washington alongside Ada County Sheriff Lieutenant Derosier. I have also worked with Oregon's "Fallen Badge foundation" to instruct on the 2024 Honor Guard academy in Hillsboro, Oregon.

Awards

I have been awarded the Correctional Deputy of the Year in 2006 for working on setting up a training program on my own time for my coworkers on graveshift.

I have been awarded three Medals of Merit for my time on the Sheriff's Honor Guard for my attention to detail and working as a team in three separate Line of Duty deaths.
