I've been scuba diving nearly my entire life. That hobby expanded into a job at Walt Disney where I later worked my way up to becoming a Dive Master. Currently my diving is strictly recreational to maintain the love of diving and the aquatic life. My love of archery is new to me in comparison but being a quick learner I acheived the title of Shooter of the Year my first year competing. The pressure of competition is not the only reason for being an excellent shot with a bow, it is also the means for survival in a matter of speaking. Archery competition is but one side of the story and the other is hunting. This is a bonding experience with family as well as providing food for my family. This is also an extension of my marksmanship passion. Built off of the core fundamentals instilled to me by The United States Marine Corps and maintaining expert qualifications in both rifle and pistol, I now use these skills for hunting as well as recreational shooting range time with friends and family from time to time. Photography is a completely different type of "shooting". Subjects vary from landscapes, abstract views of cities and their skylines to people. This is a passion that I fell into in my teens. This passion grew to the point that a small person business was being built pre-pandemic. With the world on hold and travel limited this passion was forcibly set to the side but my camera is never far from my side. Finally, rock climbing, it is the newest of hobbies and one that I share with my wife when schedules can align. It keeps us humble sometimes and always reaching for that next hold.
