Safely planning loading/discharging multiple cargos at the same time.
Maintaining all equipment including cargo pumps, generators, ballast pumps and inert gas system.
In charge of training all new crew members with all cargo and ballast operations. Maintenance plans, watch and standing orders.
Coming up with cleaning and vacuuming plan.
Knowledge of what products can be loaded on top of each other and which have to cleaned and vacuummed out.
Use of Hyde Guard ballast water treatment.
Responsible to develop load plans, including valve line up and load/discharge rates, to safely load or discharge hydrocarbon based fluids to and from vessel.
Enforce compliance to regulations as required by the vessels' classification society and flag state.
Manage audits and inspections, including internal/external ISM audits, client vetting inspections and port state control inspection. Develop and manage corrective action plans and root cause analysis as required.
Utilize Ns5 Maintenance and procurement system to manage inventory and plan maintenance activities.
Extensive knowledge in the use and maintaining Inert Gas systems.
