I helped design a virtual reality human interface device with a company called X-One. I signed a NDA agreement and was given prototype equipment to examine and test for proficiency and any applicable usages. It was a ABS material based rifle HID USB controller with twin solenoids and a IR sensor shoulder based haptic feedback system. It also contained 2 vibration motors in the base of the gun. It was designed as a demo for military OEM interests. They were considering it for firearms and tactical VR training. The gun's design was improved thanks to my additions. I relocated the haptic system for more realistic impact and force simulation. The military passed on the design and decided it was not what they were looking for at the time. The redesigned gun later became a short lived commerical success in the gaming market. A private buyer/vendor purchased the final design for his own OEM company. It was called the Delta Six. They had a successful KickStarter campaign. It started out as a PC exclusive design, but was later ported and updated to work with the Xbox 360 and Sony PS3. The device was originally called the Jaguar X1. Loving Global has since left the consumer market and only makes OEM designs for private customers.
I achieved my black belt in Taekwondo and it has created a sense of security and discipline in my life ever since. I value the skills I learned from training. I have been able to defend myself and others in dangerous situations. In school I was able to stop bullies and help people who were being hurt and targeted at school. My black belt gave me a tremendous sense of pride.
I was once tone deaf and could not hear pitch. I could not sing and I was a terrible musician. After many years of self taught perseverance, I was finally able to sing and excelled in my craft. I was offered the lead vocalist position with a touring band who was breaking out and on tour. I turned it down for my family. It was still an honor. I moved to Oregon because another semi-famous and touring band offered me a position as their lead singer as well. I decided to focus on my adult pursuits. I still am proud of how far I can with my determination.
I enjoy writing poetry and reading. I love to research science and history. Music is also something I enjoy in my spare time. I play guitar and love discovering new ways to create sound. I worked with an established artist and we made our own EP. We released it to the public and it was one of the proudest moments of my life. I also enjoy ink sketching and creating abstract digital designed art. I am aware of diet and nutrition. I care about my body and enjoy maintaining it. I always exercise and stay active for my enjoyment as well as my health. I love to box and keep up with my skills daily, improving in every way I can to become a better fighter. I am also a black belt in Taekwondo. I love martial arts as well.
