• Five Minute Student Assignment, Sound Recordist, Biola University (Student Project), 04/2024, I was hired through Backstage to help a student at Biola complete his short film for one of his classes., For this shoot, I used their Mixpre-3 and Sennheiser G4's to record both lavs and boom. Overall, while there were a few issues, the audio was high quality with great clarity of dialogue.
• Lethe, Sound Recordist/Sound Editor, University of California, Riverside (TFDP), 12/2023 - 02/2024, I ran sound for one of the shooting days, and now my responsibility is to do sound editing on Premiere Pro., The director of this short is a fellow colleague from UCR that needed my support and expertise.
• 1869, Sound Recordist, Student Project (Dir. John Klaudia), 04/2023, A fellow classmate needed sound for his short film at his house. I ran boom and lavs through a Tascam for the one day we shot the film.
• Mike & Trent Try to Make Rent, Sound Recordist/Boom Operator, University of California, Riverside (TFDP), 01/2023 - 03/2023, I took part in the production of the school's web series by handling boom in the first episode, and then running the lav system in the second episode., Although I had done boom before, lavs were a new venture that I took pride learning and applying the knowledge to help the shoot go smoothly.
• Coyotes, Production Assistant/Grip/Foley, Ari Films Corona, CA, 01/2022 - 02/2023, I worked on this project during my third year of college, although the project was extracurricular., I took on various roles for two days of shooting, doing production assistance and grip. This was my first time doing this for someone else's production., A year later, the team needed help with foley, so I took the opportunity to take the role to further my post-production experience. I recorded sounds using my own boom mic and a Tascam handheld recorder, and then edited through Premiere.
• Touch, Boom Operator, Chapman University Orange, CA, 03/2022, My classmate got me an opportunity to work as a boom op for her friend who was an alumni from UCR and was doing her grad film at Chapman., I had prior boom experience, but this was my first experience on a more professional set, which gave me the opportunity to learn more about sound equipment and how to use it. Overall, the Head of Sound was impressed with my work ethic and discipline, being impressed with the quality of the audio.
