I am a Meat Clerk and have the responsibility as PIC helping the department manager. I service department tasks including audits, price comparisons, inventory management, and ordering. I work what ever position, and shifts that need to be covered

  • Assisted customers with special requests and provided information on various cuts of meat, cooking techniques, and recipes.

Accomplishments

I have worked at WinCo just over 4.5 years. I was initially hired as a deli clerk, where I performed food production, stocking floor products, counter, as well as fryer. Less than a year I was promoted to MIT followed by Department Manager. I managed the department for nearly three years before transferring to the Meat Department. While I am still working in the Meat Department I have also gained the title of SPC. I fulfill the SPC position as a backup for our current SPC. I strive to learn and grow as much as possible to be a positive asset to the company as well as become a better leader. I am currently enrolled in the Retail Management Certificate Progam, with the goal of obtaining strong business applications as well as continuing to sharpen my leadership skills and be the best I can be.
