Accomplishments

Brownfields coordinator (BC) has partaken in numerous trainings (online EPA and CCLR webinars, Northwest Brownfields Peer Group member, 2023 National Brownfields Conference) to understand brownfields as well as administer the grant effectively and efficiently. The BC also hired a brownfields technician who has also partaken in the aforementioned trainings. Together they have cross-trained and shared brownfield knowledge with each other, have had numerous one one-on-one consultations with Region 10 EPA’s TAB provider, hired an environmental scientist, and are proud to report that the grant is in compliance, and up to date with all reporting requirements. .
