As an Environmental Health and Safety Specialist I provide expertise to ensure compliance regarding environmental, health and safety regulations. In this role, I continue to cultivate a culture where safety and health is a core value. This position also appointed me as our site's ergonomic coordinator, which requires me to collaborate extensively with employees to improve processes.

TPI is the largest U.S.-based independent manufacturer of composite wind blades for the high-growth wind energy market supporting global wind turbine manufacturers. As the Environmental Health & Safety Coordinator for the New England region it was not only my responsibility to mitigate risk, but also promote a culture with the goal of zero injuries through innovative safety programs. Some of my main tasks included:

• Providing Environmental Regulatory Compliance
• Managing our Near Miss Program
• Training of our Safety Programs and Policies - Assist with development and implementation of ISO 14001 program
• Hazardous Waste Management
• Incident Investigations

Assisted individuals to eliminate or replace disruptive, harmful or negative behaviors with positive actions.

Worked as a Intern in the EHS department for 8 months after graduating college. I performed a variety of assignments on a daily basis that were both on-going and incontinuous. Some of my tasks included:

• Developing and presenting New Employee Safety Orientation
• Conducting Respirator Fit Testing
• Developing Lockout/Tagout procedures for new equipment
• Overseeing Air Emissions
• Conducting risk assessments and developing solutions .
