I am an organized and motivated employee eager to apply myself to anything and everything that students and student athletes need to help them succeed. I was an athlete while in junior high and in varsity sports all throughout my high school career and I do believe that I would be the best candidates for this position, not only for me being a prior student athlete, but as well as coaching at Carbondale Area Jr/Sr High School. I plan to make every athlete I coach ready for the next level, no matter what level is next for them.
My time at Carbondale Area as a track and field coach was short, but for various reasons. I sent a pole vaulter and high jumper that I personally trained to the District meet. While my athlete didn't go to states in pole vault, he did go to states for the high jump. This was a great accomplishment for me to debut my coaching career for track and field.
While in high school, I went on to play many sports. The sports I played were football, basketball, soccer, and track and field. I have gone to districts in track and field, basketball, and football. I had gone to states as a standby for the hurdles while in high school as well.
After high school, I went into the Air Force and proudly served two years. I ended up getting out of my contract due to family issues I was having here in Carbondale, PA. While my time in the Air Force was cut short, I have done many things to help my family, community, and my Alma Mater.
After the Air Force, I decided I would like to apply to college and get a degree. I ended up getting recruited for soccer at Lackawanna College. I decided not to finish my degree and start working because I had bills to pay. This resulted in me getting a job at Abington Heights where I am now a Paraprofessional in the Emotional Support Division.
I have all of my clearances needed to coach at any school and to work for any school district. I will provide you with them following a response email about the position I am applying for.
