I played two varsity sports in high school. Football for four years, track and field for 3 years. For football, I won freshman player of the year my freshman year, and my senior year I won the Senior leadership award, which demonstrated leadership, accountability, and availability for the younger generation on the team. I also won a state championship for football my senior year.

For track and field, I ran as a part of our main four by one and four by four my junior and senior year. My junior year, my four by one won districts, and our four by four qualified for regional. My senior year, my four by one placed third with an even better time than the year prior and that qualified us for the regional championship. For Track, I won the most improved male athlete my junior year, and my senior year I won the senior award, captains award, and the heart and hustle award, which demonstrated grit, hard work, leadership, and the ability to never give up.
