SDSs are required by the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA)
◦ Fire Extinguishers/ AED inspections to ensure OSHA compliance
◦ Building project management: ensure vendors are properly licensed to operate heavy equipment, ensure vendors are licensed for scaffolding use, ensure parking lot stalls are within measurement regulations, ensure parking lot stencils are properly labeled.
◦ Inspect elevators weekly to ensure compliance with ASME
◦ Put in work orders through SAP and FIORI. Provide detailed description of issue. Take photos to provide reference to the work order request. Send to facilities team.
◦ Use proper signage and equipment in cases of emergency to be compliant with safety regulations: wet floor signs, wet paint signs, yellow caution tape, out of order signs.
Ensure that partner and urself are properly following PPE requirements: slip resistant boots, hi vis shirt vest, ear protection, goggles, hard hat.
◦ Sanitation guidelines: hair net, goggles, beard net, smock suit, boot covers, gloves
◦ Inspect all equipment before use to avoid injuries: blenders, mill room equipment, forklift, power tools
◦ Follow and implement the Environmental, Health, and Services (EH&S) quality policy
◦ Follow packaging regulations: record weight of each bag or drum, properly label bags/drums with correct label of contents, stage product in pallets.
◦ Responsible for regular housekeeping of the work area consistent with CP Kelco’s cGMP Policy
◦ Must follow CP Kelco, state, and federal guidelines concerning safety and environmental protection. Proper use of PPE conforming to Level C (general) & Level A (packaging room) standards is required.
◦ Enforce Proper uniform for employees
◦ Investigate member’ complaints: harassment, music choice, injury while using equipment, unknown charges on their accounts,
◦ Decisions making when terminating memberships.
◦ Perform daily inspections of machines and weights to ensure that our members are safe
◦ Perform daily inspections of our restrooms, kids club, and fitness mats to ensure there are no sanitation risks.
◦ INSPECT all ADA entrances are properly accessible
◦ Reviewing liability waivers with members to ensure the understanding and accepting the risk of using the gyms’ equipment
◦ Discuss gyms’ contractual agreements: personal information, billing information, rules/regulations, legal information
