Jordyn Acres

Resident Parents and Mentors are responsible for maintaining a safe and comfortable home environment for up to 8 students in a residence. They oversee the growth and development of the students in their care by helping them balance their responsibilities, interpersonal relationships, and spiritual life. Resident Parents provide a Christian environment through prayer, open discussion and family devotions.

• Encouraged youth clients to develop own activities and leadership skills through group discussions.
• Provided key emotional support to special needs youth.
• Managed and led activities promoting growth in mental, emotional, and educational areas.
• Completed necessary reports and documentation to maintain thorough, accurate case records.

• Replenished condiments, beverages, and supplies while maintaining cleanliness of service areas.
• Cleaned and sanitized dishes and utensils, consistently keeping adequate supplies on hand for expected customer loads.
• Greeted customers at counter to fulfill requests and answer questions.
• Restocked supplies and prepared additional ingredients during downtime for expected busy periods.
