I assisted customers with products, ordering, installation quotes, and cutting specific products, such as flooring and blinds.
My department duties are to clean the floor, dust, etc., check for safety hazards, restock inventory, with an Electric Ladder if needed, and use 'SideKick' on Zebra phone to check for products that are out of stock or enter how many are on the shelf.
Also, I used the Zebra phone program to scan damaged products, then wrote why it is damaged, and took them to the freight area.
I also checked product prices and changed them if needed, by printing price tags with the HD price printer; plus, I organized products on the correct shelf, by scanning and checking the SKU number.
Answer inbound calls with the Department office phone and enter custom orders for customers into the Department Office Computer via special order/ custom order program (e.g. Blinds, windows, flooring, wall tiles).
Performed flooring installation quotes into the Department Office Computer program, on behalf of customers' requests and scheduled flooring measurement appointments.
Serviced properly measured cuts with the designated machines to cut carpet and vinyl, rugs, blinds, and wire shelving for customers (e.g. Carpet and Vinyl Cutter, Blinds Cutter, Metal Shelving Cutter, etc.).
Assisted customers in selecting, and purchasing flooring or other sales items sold in the department.
Utilized The Home Depot 'Sidekick' (Cloud-based machine learning algorithm) on the Zebra phone.
Used the Special Orders Program for Installation Quotes.
Accepted Inbound Calls with office phone.
Checked for accurate pricing on store inventory.
Utilized HD price-tag printer

Knowledge of locating product SKU numbers/and locating shelf palettes.
Licensed to use Electric Ladder, to unbox needed inventory for the department.
