I worked in a program through school (In Touch) where I was switched back & forth from Smart & Final to DSW every 2 months. I had numerous job duties such as, produce assistant, bagging, and cart runner. Face front merchandise, check expiration dates and price scan. Greeted customers & directed to requested products. Assist customers with the loading of merchandise into shopping carts and to loading of their vehicles.

In Touch program-I would greet customers and answer any product questions. Received inventory and placed merchandise on the sales floor, complete markdowns, maintain clearance standards, organize, and maintain the stockroom. Maintained a neat, clean, and safe environment for our internal and external customers by clearing trash from the aisles and stockroom, returning shoes back to their location, cleaning the associate breakroom, vacuuming, cleaning mirrors and front walkways along with any other housekeeping items deemed necessary.

Provided care to horses that have been abused or neglected. Fed, walked, and groomed the horses. Maintained clean stalls and trained new volunteers.
