Started as a laborer digging trenches, backfilling holes and compacting. Adapted quickly and demonstrated my skills and knowledge in underground utility systems and ability to work with others. I have installed hundreds of miles of water line from 1/2" to 14" along with fire hydrants, rppa's, rpda's, dcda's, water line vaults. Sewer lines 4" to 12" along with precast and pour in place manholes, clean outs, live line connections and repairs. Storm drain systems from 4" pvc pipe to 54" rcp, and 12' x 6' rcb.

Investigated and reported on accidents, injuries and near-miss incidents. Conducted safety meetings with workers to discuss safety issues, status and development. Installed new water, sewer, and storm drain systems and connected piping to existing components by drilling, bolting and threading. Assisted with repairs to water, drainage, and sewer lines.

Ensured timely delivery of completed orders by managing pickup and drop-off schedules effectively. Restocked supply inventories and notified supervisors of shortages for customer convenience. Reduced garment damage rates with meticulous inspection during pre-and post-cleaning stages, identifying potential risks before they became costly mistakes. Assisted with cleaning and maintenance of laundry equipment to keep machines in proper working order.

Assisted skilled workers with construction projects. Performed heavy labor such as ditch digging, paving and hauling. Continually cleaned work areas and equipment. Cut materials to specified sizes for installation using power saws and tile cutters. Dug trenches, backfilled holes and compacted earth to prepare for new construction.
