• Data entry to keep track of the extensive amount of donors. Essential programs included PDI, REVV, and i360.

  We were expected to write political articles every work day that were current with the political climate. These articles were then posted to the San Diego News Desk. I enjoyed the writing aspect of this internship greatly due to our ability to analyze the cause and effect of many different issues going on in San Diego County, California, and the United States as a whole. Some of these issues included the increased price of living in San Diego and California and the financial impact of COVID-19 on the tourism dependent San Diego economy.
  
  This internship fulfilled my graduation requirement for my Political Science degree at SDSU. I now have an enhanced understanding of politics at a community level due to all of the valuable information I learned as an intern at the RPSDC.

"The Alameda County District Attorney's Justice Academy"

• Participated in a selective program designed to teach the purpose and functions of the justice system to high school students.
• Discussed topics regarding the world today and how the justice system plays a crucial role in society.
• Learned the skills and tasks required of attorneys and how they keep the community safe.
• A group of students, including myself, prepared a speech at the end of the program to highlight the importance of law enforcement in the community despite accusations of abuse of its power.
