
As Piercer Technician I am responsible of the BTP that pierces the hot billets, making sure all parts of my area are working as supposed, and with the correct presets.
Also Making sure that the whole line of BTP and plugs being use are free of damage that could affect the quality of the product.
In addition to that, I am responsible for the disengage/engage of the BTP rolls during the rolls change. During regular PM days I perform cleaning activities and/or line basic maintenance along my team.
As operator of Layer Saw I was responsible of doing frequent saws inspections and calibrations to ensure proper cuts, cleaning of robot and saws, and the calibration of stoppers to ensure accurate length.
Also responsible to keep the right tracking of all pipes and to fix any tracking misalignment that could come.
I do still working at this area anytime my supervisor asks me to.
At this job I was working at Tenaris as a contractor doing floor cleaning around the plant and cleaning inside the machines during PM days.
I participated during 2024 REX.
At this job I learned to do Drywall, Framing, flooring, concrete work, assembling and roofing.
I started as a cook with no experience, but I learned everything that they showed me and by 2022 they made me the kitchen manager.
As a kitchen manager I was responsible for:
Managing inventory for food and beverage items to ensure the kitchen is adequately stocked.
Hiring, training, and disciplining kitchen staff such as line cooks, prep cooks, bussers, and dishwashers.
Seeking ways to improve kitchen processes and ensure prompt service.
Creating a schedule for kitchen staff to know their shifts
Set standards for kitchen cleanliness and ensuring cleaning is done regularly.
Tracking kitchen waste and looking for improvements for financial return.
