A small family venture started by family members including myself on January 2014. We worked on a small group of customers who needed lubricants on a weekly basis and were in need of a new supplier, then we worked out pricing deals with a couple of larger oil suppliers and got to work. We were able in the following years to sustain and build our customer base to the point it allowed us to employ 3 full time and 2 part time employees. After the pandemic, our customer base was severely reduce to the point where we needed to cut down our work force and slowly shut down in the following years until finally closing doors on January 2025.
Throughout my years with Big Bear Oil, I was in charge of bringin in new customers while maintaining healthy sales with the company' established clientele. Other duties included filling in for the warehouse staff whenever needed and always making sure that each customer was satisfied with their purchase and received their merchandise on a timely maner.
Running Bear convenience stores were owned by Big Bear Oil. I started working there as a cashier on 2004 and slowly worked my way up the ranks to store manager until I was offered a position in sales at the parent company, Big Bear Oil.
