Actively giving back to my community sharing what I learn during my Certified Ethical Hacker training, at ROOT@UT club along side my colleagues and friends in the board of executive we help underclassman, get a foot in the world of cyber security through competitions and different hands-on experiences using different industry leading tools and techniques used by many in the world of Cybersecurity
During my time as the ROOT@UT club officer I was able to give multiple recruiting presentations, spreading to word to underclassman who were interested to learn about the world of ethical hacking and penetration testing, targeting but not limiting the club to cybersecurity freshman students to help them get their feet wet in ethical hacking side of Cybersecurity. I also led workshops in relations to the National Cyber league, the workshops were focused on two specific sections of challenges that students face while participating in the National Cyber league competition, those sections are cryptography, enumeration and exploitation.
As the lab support assistant, my daily tasks consist of managing and maintaining over 2,000 computers owned by the University of Tampa located in various computer lab classrooms across the campus as well as tackling incident tickets regarding various podiums computers and lab computers.
As the Asset Management Assistant, my tasks consist of handling new computer assets bought by the University of Tampa, using a asset tagging system, I would tag new assets and use those asset tags to log the new assets into the system, as well as going through a reimaging process to prepare devices that will be operational in the University's network.
