I used to be in 4H and that's where I got an electric award by making a magnet. I also got to go to the state fair 3 or 4 different times. I've always been the type of person to push myself to become better than what I already am. I have always been a big fan of labor jobs. I've done lots of volunteer work. I had done volunteering with the curch. I have also worked with my grandpa, that owns his own paint business. I also enjoyed making food for the seniors while I was apart of 4H. I believe good hard work, is giving it my all, with speed but also quality.
As a Specialist Foamer 1, I would put jigs in the boats to stop them from blowing out when the foam spreads, I then tape off all of the compartments and boxes that need to be taped off before I foam. I take care of my gun by greasing it then I start foaming. I try to waste as little foam as possible as it rises to the top of the compartments. I use a timer connected to the wall for seconds to get as accurate as possible. When I finish foaming the boat, I cut the excess foam so its flat with the compartments. There was a time where I had to sand down the boats and blow them out with an air wand because we didn't have enough people . So I had to do 2 jobs in the time of 1.
I would start my day by scraping eggs that came off of the conveyer belt. Then i would wash them in a machine and make sure they where clean to my bosses standards, I would then walk a path and collect eggs off of the ground carefully so they would not break.
