  • 24 years in Comcast Network Maintenance servicing all Hybrid Fiber Coaxial Architecture & splicing fiber.
  • Senior Comtech 5 with 24hr On Call shifts, minimum 8 hour shifts M-F, and repairing all HFC outages.

  • Splice fiber optic cable, mainline distribution trunk & feeder cable.
  • Have full understanding of proper break down & setup of fiber enclosures.
  • Excellent in construction practices: Usage of lashers and chain hoists to repair broken & busted strand and lashing wire, set anchors & down guys, perform pole transfers, raise and lower strand for clearance and damaged issues.
  • Used proper bonding and grounding techniques to meet proper safety guidelines.
  • Service and repair power supplies all throughout our system.
  • Track down and repair noise distortions, level issues, RF leaks, ingress, & impedance mismatches on our mainline cable.
  • Know the use & function of RF meters, voltage meters, OTDR’s, TDR’s, quiver, locator, and use these pieces of equipment daily for troubleshooting RF and fiber issues. Got really familiar with PRC-77 radios in my military training in Howitzers, Humvee's, and Bradley Fighting Vehicles.
