During my time at Mayo Clinic I was involved in a multitude of different PT services and modalities. The first being part of a pilot program that embedded PT in ICU's across Mayo. My job was to mobilize critical care patients while monitoring vitals and ensure patient safety. For this position I won an Excellence award from Mayo Clinic.
I was also on a research team that was researching new technologies in regards to different spinal cord damage. The main technology used was Epidural Stimulation of the spinal cord. This was achieved by placing an electro stimulation device on the spinal cord itself to try and push a signal through the damaged region of the spinal cord. My job was to place stimulation electrodes on the muscle groups on the legs to help simulate ambulation while using a treadmill.

Awarded to teams working on different projects across multiple Mayo campuses and sites. Only one award is awarded per year, and is voting on my the heads of every department. We received this award for our work in decreasing length of stay in ICU's across Mayo Clinic Rochester.
