Joseph Weisenburger

I have worked as a security officer for kentwood public scool for a year through a private security company. I then worked in Kent County Juvenile Detention in 1997 for 2 years where I worked as a juvenile correction officer. I then was hired for the last 26 years as a surveillance officer for Kent County 17th Circuit Court.

Surveillance officer responsibilities:

1. Monitored youth on probation and there accountability

2. Placed youth on probation in handcuffs and transported to detention

3. Drug tested youth

4. took youth on program trips

5. monitored youth in school for attendance, behavior in school and progress.

6. worked closely with probation officers and police officers in the community.

7. documented on microsoft word and excel youth contacts notes and progress of youth on probation.

8. transported and supervised youth on Kentfeilds Court school program.
