• Responsible for the construction of various Aiken County infrastructure facilities as funded by the local option sales tax program.
• Provide complete oversite of planned projects from inception through completion. This involves a leading role in design, contractor selection through bidding, contract management and turnover. Projects range in value from $500k to $3.5 million.

• Responsible for all maintenance activities for the IMERYS Ceramics kaolin processing facility. This includes both planned and unplanned activities associated with mechanical, electrical and PLC systems. Performed all duties associated with capital projects including design, contractor management, start-up and project closure.
• Managed eight (8) full time multi-craft maintenance technicians.
• Performed behavior based safety audits of personnel as well as facility audits to identify and correct unsafe conditions .
• Managed an inventory of spare equipment and parts valued in excess of $1.5 million.
• Improved equipment reliability by implementing a preventive maintenance program and managing repair schedules.

Collaborated with other department managers to coordinate maintenance activities around production schedules, minimizing operational interruptions.

• Responsible for the maintenance activities for the Active Minerals kaolin processing facility.
• Oversight for three (3) full time mechanics.
• Provided safety leadership to the maintenance department through on the job training techniques such as behavioral assessments, Job Safety Analysis process and vendor supplied resources.
• Maintenance activities included mechanical, electrical and E&I tasks.

• Provided renovations as well as new installations of various components to both residential and commercial buildings.
• Provided call back services for repairs and/or alterations to building components for larger contractors.
• Business model focused primarily of performing the smaller jobs overlooked or unwanted by larger contractors.

• Responsible for the facilities and production equipment maintenance activities at the Bridgestone/ Firestone SC tire manufacturing plant.
• Management of fifty four (54) mechanics and electricians and six (6) machinists in multiple shops in the 1.4 million square foot facility.
• Provide safety leadership to all personnel through mentoring and empowering each individual to take charge of their individual and team safety goals.

• Responsible for the setup and operation of the site sub-contractor office compound and associated laydown areas.
• Management oversight for the project earthwork, utilities, firewater, product warehouse , site paving and grading and the main office contracts. Contracts value totaled more than $150 million.
• Responsible for promoting a safety culture attitude among various sub-contractors.
• Performed project close-out and turnover activities at project completion.

• Management oversight of civil construction activities at the Replacement Tritium Facility at SRS. These included stormwater systems, interior finishes, seismic soil boring and security installations.
• Management oversight of civil and process piping construction activities at the "F" Area Tank farm at SRS. These included tank top structural steel installations and repairs to underground steam lines.
• Involved in the early stages of the work package process implementation.
• Participated in all site wide safety initiatives.

• Responsible for performing material takeoff and ordering of civil and process piping materials for the Replacement Tritium Facility at SRS.
• Initiate RFI (request for information) documents to resolve design discrepancies.
• Expedite material deliveries in support of project timelines.
• Create field drawings to provide detailed direction for construction activities.

• Involved in all aspects of a medium size row crop and vegetable farming operation.
• Responsible for the diversification of operations to include vegetable production to better utilize newly installed irrigation systems.
• Responsible for all harvest activities of an annual 1000 acre wheat crop.
