  • At Blush I started at the front desk with the plan of eventually booth renting, as soon as transferring my Texas license to Oklahoma.
  • While at the front desk, I handled all boutique retail, product sales, keeping the boutique and salon clean, ordering and uploading inventory, handling cash, opening and closing the store/salon, steaming and hanging clothes, organizing inventory and designing store displays and mannequins; as well as handling the salons instagram.
  • I started assisting a few of the stylists during my front desk shifts, washing towels and dishes, shampooing, blowdrying, and styling clients.
  • I started booth renting at Blush in August; I left Blush shortly after in hopes to find a salon that better fit my goals as a stylist.

  • While completing my cosmetology licensing at Aveda I began my job at The Beauty Lounge, assisting the salon and working in front desk service.
  • My Front desk position included, learning the booking system, handling client booking in person, as well as over the phone. I would answer all phone calls, handle customer service, answer questions about salon policy, booking, and services; I also handled product retail including both hair products and boutique items. This position also required me to be able to multitask and handle both front desk and assisting simultaneously.
  • Assisting included helping the hairstylist and beauticians with cleaning, washing and drying towels, opening and closing the salon, multitasking, mixing color and bleach. Assisting with color and bleach applications, installing, removing, toning, washing and blowdrying handtied extensions.
  • This job also gave me the opportunity to plan and attend events, as well as attend continuing education for skills, products, and brands. Including a hand-tied extension course and blonding and coloring classes.
  • I left The Beauty Lounge to pursue a degree at The Spears School of Business at Oklahoma State University
