Shift coordinator for the last couple of years leading 11 operators per shift through the day to day process of making chemicals. I have very good troubleshooting abilities and a good knowledge of our chemical process. I handle everything on shift from ordering supplies, writing maintenance notifications, making sure timesheets are completed correctly to making sure we are staffed, while helping the chief operators through problems that arise in the plants. Hardworking Shift Coordinator skilled in leading, motivating and mentoring employees for optimal productivity. Excellent trainer and problem-solver with 20 years of chemical and oil experience.

Work History
Shift Coordinator
Evonik Mobile Crosslinkers
11.2021 - Current
As a Shift Coordinator I took over the responsibility of overseeing an 11 person shift of operators. This included 4 chief operators and 6 outside chemical operators and 1 tank farm operator. We operate 4 continuous processes 1 batch process and a tank and rail loading and unloading facility.
I have a broad knowledge of various chemical making equipment and processes.
I take pride in being able to guide and help develop new operators in to what I believe are well-rounded operators that anybody would like to have on their shifts
Part of my duties included working closely with our operations resource during and before any planned shutdowns. We would work together in identifying the workload and timeline and scheduling manpower and overtime to ensure the work is done safely and on time.
In the Crosslinkers business unit all life safety permits are written by the shift coordinator.
I use SAP daily to write any maintenance notifications, convert notifications to work orders, and order supplies from the store room
I am responsible for ensuring the operators timesheets are filled out each week correctly and turned in to our unit secretary.
I take the time to ensure my team stays up to date on yearly training and goals such as Workday learning, using the ESTER system, and coordinating quarterly shift safety drills with the safety department.
There are a lot of different personalities on a shift from a lot of different backgrounds. Successfully being able to manage conflicts among operators and help morale on shift is a challenge that I pride myself in being able to control.
I try to lead by example in work ethic, safety, and core values.
