I recently passed CompTIA Network+ and I'm finishing up dual AAS degrees in Network Administration and Cybersecurity. When something breaks, I like to work through it in order. I figure out where the actual problem is before I touch anything, fix it, then write down what happened so it's not a mystery the next time. That's pretty much what my home lab work has been all year. I'm looking to bring that same approach to a NOC technician role, where I can put structured troubleshooting and solid documentation to work watching over a live network.
