My name is Joshua Portillo. I do not drink or smoke. I'm an A.S.E certified auto technician, a conductor for your Santa Teresa intermodal facility, and a former manager for Advance Auto Parts. As a conductor for Conglobal, I have been working 12-hour shifts during both days and nights and working in adverse weather conditions. During my time at Conglobal , I have learned how to be a safe and efficient switch crew member. Which includes but is not limited to operating switches and derails, coupling and uncoupling, and protecting shoving movements. I have been working with automobiles since a young age and know what it means to work with and respect heavy equipment. My father Francisco Javier Portillo jr has been a Union Pacific railroader for 30 years. As long as I can remember he's been teaching me about the danger of trains, and how important it is to respect them. Growing up with a railroad father, I know and understand the challenges that come with being a railroader and am fully prepared to take them on.
