- As a co-owner / operator my job duties and responsibilities involved virtually every aspect of the business operations. The following is not an exhaustive list: office operations, answering phones, computer setup, and technical support, scheduling estimates, jobs, and employee hours, performing estimates, planning and supervising job sites, labor, equipment maintenance and repair, primary aerial operator (bucket truck, climbing, roping, rigging, etc...), consulting arborist, landscape design and installation, financial planning, and purchasing of tools, equipment, and supplies.
- There is no exact date on which this business was ended because it took several years to sell off numerous pieces of equipment and tools. During this time, we still received calls from previous customers and referrals, even though we stopped advertising sometime before 2015. Therefore many smaller jobs could still be done even without the expensive equipment. The income between these jobs and the sales of equipment was plenty sufficient to get by financially.
