As Technical Director and Team Leader I combined technical skills with leadership. My responsibilities are listed below:

• Served as primary decision-maker for internal technology spending, creating budget guidelines to reduce waste and decrease unnecessary upgrades.
• Technical support to IPRAN network (Movistar and Claro)
  Ecuador (TS).
• Deployment and technical support in CLARO, Movistar and CNT in Ecuador. SDH and DWDM network, including FOADMs, ROADMs, OLAs, colorless Mux, WSS. National rings and point to point links and in some cases ASON(automatic switching optical network) was deployed.
• Technical Director for Movistar Ecuador account, technical leader

and CS Engineer. I was in charge current network issues and all

projects to be deployed. I had to assure the network to work

properly and projects deployed efficiently and timely.

• Deployment and support to GPON networks
• Migration and creation of IPRAN services on DWDM backbone and
  Microwave network (Movistar and Claro).
• Updated software and firmware with latest patches.
• I deployed and supported Microwave projects in Claro
  (Ecuador). Links used bands5, 7, 15, 20, 30, 60 and 70Ghz and protection schemes like 1+0, 1+1, XPIC, Space diversity and frequency diversity which transport 5G, LTE and GSM traffic, necessary for RNCs connect to B nodes.
• Reviewed and tested installations for compliance with quality control standards.
