Summary

I've been working in the marketing and sales space for over 5 years and once you read where I worked at it might cross your mind why im applying for this job and I will briefly explain. in the last 2 years I was mainly focusing in the seo space and a lot of things that I used to do weren't working anymore and I lost a lot of my clients because of it. I have a wife and a daughter now so I need something more stable where I can work hard and prove to become a good asset and leader for a couple of years and just learn and grow.

Running a marketing agency was, and still is, a very fun and unique experience that has taught me a lot. I want to point out here some of the most valuable, and what I believe are the most important points that I was able to learn and achieve.

The first and most important thing it taught me was what to expect from an employee's productive point of view. It taught me what it takes in that position to be able to help the company succeed, and how important it is for the company to succeed and grow for better and bigger opportunities.

The second thing it gave me was confidence for many things, like being able to establish very good relationships with clients. Being able to increase my selling skills and mainly being able to network with people who have a ton of success in the advertising and marketing space, especially for running Google ads, Facebook ads, and SEO, where my main marketing focuses were.

The third thing it taught me is that starting a company without leads is not a company. Within this, it also taught me that when growing a client's company, it's as easy as getting the CPC (cost per click) and CPA (cost per acquisition), and it's as easy as that to be able to calculate their ROI. Sure, there are a couple more factors to it, like the average ticket closed per client or job, etc. The booking rate and closing rate, as well, are huge factors. This brings me to the 4th and last main thing it taught me.

The 4th thing was being able to squeeze out more money for the clients was with setting up workflow automations like email marketing and SMS follow-ups, being able to create a well-thought-out sequence to be able to increase their closing rate without having to spend more on advertisement. Also, being able to set up systems like referral programs that worked very well.

Now, of course, it taught me a lot more than just four things. Since day one, I made a promise to myself to never stop learning and also grow in knowledge because knowledge is king!
