Juan Palacios

I’m going to be with Costco for 20 year this coming July. I have had the opportunity to be in different roles through-out my costco career. I’ve worked front -end, majors, merch, food court, member service, and membership in a supervisor role. Now, given the opportunity to be a department Manager, I continue to teach and train while keeping our Costco culture throughout. Along the way I am also learning and seeking for opportunities to always improve. As a manger I believe doing the following is very helpful. Being a good listener, being approachable, keeping calm under pressure, being flexible/adapting at last minutes notice, being firm but fair, respectful, keeping your standards high.
